Google Fi runs over T-Mobile's network. Additional coverage may sometimes be available through T-Mobile's roaming partners, but its unclear exactly what roaming access Google Fi subscribers have access to. Roaming coverage is not shown in the map below.
Google Fi previously offered a unique (non-roaming) technology for switching between the networks offered by T-Mobile, Sprint, and US Cellular. Google Fi no longer uses that novel technology for network switching.
The map reflects predicted outdoor signal quality. Indoor signal, congestion, and roaming aren't mapped. Each can matter in practice.
Cell coverage data for Google Fi comes primarily from the November 2025 release of the FCC's Broadband Data Collection program (representing networks as of June 2025), supplemented with real-world measurements from large crowdsourcing projects.
