Use Of Service & Indemnification

BroadbandMap.com may be used for lawful purposes only.

Visitors to BroadbandMap.com are responsible for their use of the services provided. BroadbandMap.com will not be held liable for losses or damages related to visitors' use of the services. Information provided by BroadbandMap.com is not guaranteed to be accurate.

Intellectual Property

Please do not reproduce content or other intellectual property of BroadbandMap.com without permission. Visitors may not access BroadbandMap.com for the purpose of copying, in whole or in part, its underlying databases (including by scraping or other automated bulk collection) or for the purpose of deriving or reverse engineering its software, infrastructure, or the techniques used to produce its datasets.

API & AI Tools

Broadband Map offers an API with free and paid plans. Direct API access requires an API key, and each API plan includes a monthly request quota. Broadband Map may also provide limited access through integrations without requiring an API key. That access has separate usage limits. Quotas and rate limits are enforced. Abuse or circumvention of limits, including sharing keys across organizations or rotating free keys, may result in access being revoked.

Data returned by the API is not guaranteed to be accurate. The API is provided as-is with no guarantees of uptime. Request formats and response schemas may change with notice.

Broadband Map may offer integrations that assist in use of the API via AI tools. These integrations may include items like plugins, connectors, or MCP servers. Users are responsible for their use of integrations. The applicable data usage terms below apply regardless of whether data is obtained directly through the API or through an integration, including an integration that does not require an API key.

Data Usage Terms - Standard API Endpoints

The internet availability and cell coverage endpoints are considered Standard API Endpoints.

By default, data returned by the Standard API Endpoints may only be used for purposes that are primarily ephemeral in nature: request the data and use it to serve the lookup at hand. Short-lived, good-faith operational caching is permitted.

Limited data may remain in application logs or AI tools' conversation history as an incidental part of carrying out, continuing, or reviewing the original research. This permission does not allow retained responses to become a data store for separate future lookups, enrichment, or data products.

Except for the limited retention and caching permitted above, the following are not permitted:

• Bulk storage or warehousing of API responses
• Reconstructing datasets from API responses
• Reverse engineering of Broadband Map's data processing techniques or other intellectual property
• Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing API data
• Persistent storage of API data, including CRM or contact-list enrichment

These restrictions apply at every request volume. Higher request quotas, including those on Custom plans, do not grant additional data-use permissions. Some of these use cases, including persistent storage, enrichment, and licensed redistribution, may be permitted under non-standard plans and with a written agreement. Please reach out to [email protected] if your use case goes beyond the usual terms. For any other plans without a written agreement specifying different data usage terms, these terms apply.

Data Usage Terms - Premium API Endpoints

Absent a written agreement specifying other terms, data from Premium API Endpoints is for personal or evaluation purposes only.

Paid Subscriptions

Paid API subscriptions for the Starter, Growth, and Scale tiers are billed monthly through Stripe and can be canceled anytime. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund charges that have already been processed. Reaching a request quota stops requests covered by that quota until it resets. There are no overage charges on the Starter, Growth, or Scale plans. These plans include a burst limit of 10 requests per second per key (may be relaxed on request). Unless other terms are agreed to in writing, these terms for paid subscriptions also apply to any custom plans outside of Starter, Growth, and Scale.

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of BroadbandMap.com, the Broadband Map API, or a Broadband Map integration constitutes acceptance of any changes.
