What the App Does

Coverage is an iOS app that shows cell coverage throughout the United States. Maps show coverage from the major networks: AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

What's Collected

The app does not collect cell signal performance data or upload measurements of this type to Broadband Map's servers. Data about your location may be used to position the map on your area. App users can refuse location sharing and still use the app, but functionality may be reduced.

Normal use of the app involves data passing through external services and Broadband Map's own servers. Requests to Broadband Map may be logged, and the collected data can include IP addresses and timestamps. Third-party services may also receive data as part of their operation.

For example, Mapbox is used for map rendering and geocoding. Mapbox receives location-related queries to display map tiles and geocoder search results.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
